Welcome to Riko Code! These Terms of Service ("Terms") describe the terms and conditions governing the use of Riko Code ("Service"). By using the Service, you agree to comply with the Terms described below. If you disagree with any part of these Terms, do not use the Service.

1. About the Service

Riko Code is an innovative tool for illustrating programming code through animations, making the process of teaching and sharing code more interactive and engaging. Our goal is to help developers, educators, and technology enthusiasts showcase how amazing and easy-to-learn code can be.

2. Authentication

To access Riko Code, users must authenticate via Google. The data collected includes:

  • Name
  • Email
  • Profile picture

This data is used exclusively to identify users within the platform. For more information, please refer to our Data Policy.

3. Plans and Payments

Riko Code offers the following subscription plans:

  • Monthly Plan: $9.99 per month
  • Lifetime Plan: $99.99 (one-time payment)

Payments are processed through the Stripe platform, a secure and reliable solution for financial transactions. Stripe complies with PCI DSS standards, ensuring the protection of users' payment data. For more information, please review the Stripe End User Terms and Stripe Privacy Policy.

3.1 Renewal and Cancellation

  • The Monthly Plan automatically renews at the end of each billing cycle unless the user cancels the subscription before the renewal.
  • Refunds are not offered for the Lifetime Plan.
  • Cancellations can be made directly on the account settings page.

4. Minimum Age

The Service is available for all ages. However, users under 18 must have consent from a legal guardian to make payments.

5. Use of the Service

  • Riko Code does not offer the option to directly export the renderings of code illustrations.
  • Users who wish to record animations must use external screen recording tools.

6. Limitation of Liability

  • Riko Code is not responsible for any damage or loss resulting from the use of the Service.
  • The Service is provided "as is" and "as available." We do not guarantee that the Service will always be available or error-free.

7. Data Policy

The use of Riko Code is subject to our Data Policy. We recommend reading the full policy at https://rikocode.vercel.app/policy.

8. Changes to the Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be communicated with reasonable notice. Continued use of the Service after changes to the Terms constitutes acceptance of the changes.
